"There's one thing I don't understand, Ranger,"Fiordan, the Dwarven Warrior mused.

"ONLY one?", muttered Alonna, Elven Mage & betrothed of Marlineus of Ar, to herself.

Marlineus smirked at his beloved's remark. Rangers have very acute hearing, after all. "And what would THAT be, Fiordan?"

"Why go to the trouble of finding this sword? If that man wasn't TRULY your father, why go claim the weapon?"

At that question, the group stopped its march to the tomb of Griffon.

"Because I count Rongar AS my Father. HE raised me. HE taught me right from wrong. HE was the one who kept me safe when
he found me abandoned as a babe. If THAT doesn't make him my Father, I don't know what DOES! And that sword is his FINAL
bequest to me. He also asked that I free our people and restore his homeland. To DO that I NEED to find Argiff."

"Will it really make you invincible, Marlineus?", asked young Perry, the Halfling acrobat/burglar.

"I don't know Small Fry. It will almost certainly help us against the Humanoids, though."

"How so?, asked Grandin the Fighter.

The lovely Elf Mage answered. "I have researched mystical weapons, Grandin. If this Argiff acts as OTHER FlameTongue swords,
it is a BANE to Humanoids, Undead, Avian -or flying- creatures, and cold-using beings. I have no idea what OTHER abilities it may
have as it is a unique weapon, and I have never heard of it."

"Hmph. Something the Mage DOESN'T know? I may faint!" muttered the Dwarf.

"Let's keep on moving! It's getting dark," the Ranger quickly said, as he grabbed his Lady's hand and led her away, before she
would let loose a lightning bolt at the Dwarven Warrior.
